What a great week, the girls were back to their best this week and it showed, they dominated the game, showing us all their skills, good passing and positioning was right on this week, but then the girls always try their best no matter what.
We had so many attempts at goal but credit where credit due the Bedfont goal keeper was good and we struggled to get the ball past her, she must have saved about 7 or 8 shots on target from the girls today, along with her saves we had a few that went wide, 1 hit the cross bar and another hit the post but it all came good in the 2nd half when the girls who were at this point 1-0 down (when Bedfont had managed to sneak a goal) scored the 1st of the 2 they were to get when good passing, ball skills and persistent runs finally paid off, this gave them an extra boost and another followed before the game ended, the game finished 1-2 to Croydon and it was a good win, a well deserved win in fact - well done girls.

Sophie W - scored both goals today, both very good goals. Sophie took a fantastic free kick & would have been another goal had the goalie not got her fingers to it, consistent play as always, never giving up on anything.

Phoebe - Played very well today, chasing balls to try and get something from it, made a few good runs today and helped well with defending as always, very consistent

Sophie M - Sophie played some good football today, her skills shone through today when she intercepted some Bedfont throw on's when she chested the ball down, controlled it and made a run towards goal, had a few shots unluckily go wide.

Rebecca - constant barrier in defence as always, consistent with her stops and tackling and never giving up until ball out of play, alongside Sophia and Megan they help our goalkeeper

Sophia - made some good stops today, alongside Rebecca in 1st half, they stopped the Bedfont girls attacking our goal, always there to getting the job done.

Megan - Came on 2nd half, got the job done as always, chasing balls to make sure they are away from our goal, good stops and tackles.

Abbie - made her normal great effort this week, another player who never gives up on anything, consistent play and making runs, a great help with defending today as always.

Jorja - Came on 2nd half, started very well getting stuck in and making a good effort to try and get some goals, unluckily her trys at goal didnt get to the back of net but never gave up trying, some good runs made by Jorja today.

Amy - Didnt have a very hectic game today as outfield played so well and play mainly up the other end but what play she did get Amy played well, few pick ups needed which she did well and good defense with the others from Bedfont corners.

Morgan - Had a good game this week, several attempts at goal quite a few on target but unfortunately saved by the keeper, 1 hit the post and some others went wide, never gave up trying and made a good stop of the ball to make an equally good pass to Sophie.
